Autism SA supports the autism community through advocacy and clinical services. Autism SA is a NFP and registered charity.

Challenges

SRG was engaged to conduct a high level strategic and financial review of the organisation. This involved analysis of Autism SA’s operational business units to determine whether its service offerings were sustainable, identifying opportunities to improve short to medium term cashflow, and provide recommendations on future strategic opportunities.

Following the strategic review SRG was engaged as Lead Advisor to guide Autism SA through a business sale process to secure the ongoing viability of Peak Body Services for people with Autism in SA. Navigating the complexity of selling an incorporate association, SRG were able to successfully secure a purchaser for Autism, ultimately transferring ownership to Torrens Health in January 2025.

Solutions

Securing the financial viability of Autism SA’s peak body and client services was a significant milestone for the not for profit. SRG were thrilled to see a new partnership in the Disability industry formed ensuring continuity of service and relationships to Autism SA’s clients.
