Estara provides in-home disability support services in SA including supported Independent living (SIL) and allied support specialising in Spinal Cord Injury patients.

Challenges 

SRG was engaged to conduct a review of Estara’s Finance Board Reporting deliverables and implement the suggested changes. 

SRG was subsequently retained to provide an Acting CFO role providing financial leadership and direction for the business.  Key activities included completing an annual budgeting and planning cycle to a high standard through engagement with senior management and the Board, completing annual Financial Statements and managing the external audit process, drove uplifts to the businesses’ financial reporting and analytics capability and process improvements in the finance space and supported the recruitment of a replacement CFO.  

SRG continues to provide ad hoc analytical support to Estara on an as needs basis.

Solutions

SRG was able to provide the stability and financial leadership required by the business during a period of change and successfully engaging with the Board and all levels of the business, ultimately transitioning ownership of the finance function to a newly appointed permanent CFO.
