Challenges

SRG was engaged to provide an Acting CFO for a business that had recently moved to a new manufacturing facility and a finance team in transition.

The initial focus was to stabilise the finance function ensuring key finance activities were maintained; review and uplift financial reporting output and engage the Senior leadership team and external stakeholders as required to ensure timely and accurate information flow.  The stability provided allowed the business to recruit new finance team members with limited disruption to the core finance function. 

SRG was subsequently retained to support the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing support to the new finance team.

Solutions

The business has recruited some key roles within their finance team and SRG has been able to provide the necessary support to ensure they are performing their roles effectively; clear, accurate and concise performance reports to support decision making are provided to management and external stakeholders alike and change initiatives are driven within the business.
